Coaches: your sessions already hold your best shorts
Dailies is a Chrome extension that records the coaching sessions you hold by video call and cuts captioned vertical shorts from them, ready to post. You know you need to be seen on video to find your next clients, and you have neither the wish to talk alone to a camera nor half a day to spend editing. Meanwhile, every week, in session, you answer the questions asked by the very people still hesitating to work with a coach.

Which moments of a coaching session make a good short?
Nobody posts an hour-long session, and nobody is asking you to. Dailies reads the whole of it and keeps up to eight passages of 12 to 90 seconds that stand on their own: the ones where you say something that holds for more people than the one in front of you.
The reframe
Your client arrives with “I don’t have the time”. You show them that the real question lies elsewhere. Thirty seconds that everyone who keeps telling themselves the same thing needs to hear.
The question that gets them unstuck
The one you ask ten times a month, and that is always met with the same silence. Taken out of the session, it makes people think and says nothing about the person you were asking.
The exercise, explained
You hand over a method to try before next time, with its steps and the reason behind it. That is already a tutorial, in your own words and with no teleprompter.
The end-of-session recap
In a minute, you sum up what has shifted and what is left to do. A clean conclusion that nobody had to write, and one that shows how you work.
Why start from your sessions rather than a video shoot?
You are better there than in front of a camera
In a session you recite nothing: you listen, you search, you answer a real person. That is the tone that makes people want to work with you, and no script reproduces it.
The time is already in your calendar
You add neither filming nor editing to your week. You hold the session you had planned; the shorts are ready a few minutes after you hang up, with silences, hesitations and false starts cut out.
Your clients are not put on show
A short shows whoever is speaking: you, when you answer. When your client speaks, one switch blurs them and disguises their voice. And nothing is posted for you: you download the shorts you like.
What kind of shorts can a coach post?
These are the kinds of titles a coach’s shorts carry. None of them takes a topic to prepare: they are answers you already give, to people who asked you the question.

How does Dailies work?
Record the call you were going to have anyway.
Open your call in Chrome and press record. Dailies captures the call, your microphone and your webcam.
It finds the moments worth posting.
Dailies reads the whole call and keeps up to eight passages that stand on their own. Silences, filler and false starts are cut out.
Reframed for a phone, on whoever is speaking.
Each short fills the vertical frame with your webcam, or with your guest when they speak. One switch blurs your guests.
Captioned in fifteen flavors.
Pick a look once and every short follows: font, colours, motion, even the backdrop behind you.
One call, up to eight shorts.
Watch them a few minutes after you hang up, download the ones you like in Full HD, and post them on LinkedIn, TikTok, Reels or Shorts.
What about the confidentiality of your calls?
What I say on a call belongs to my clients: can I make shorts from it?
What your client paid for is an answer to their own situation, and that is not what Dailies looks for. It rates every passage on what it reveals that is private or confidential, turns down those that reveal something and keeps the ones that make sense outside the call: a piece of advice, a method, an opinion. That is a model’s judgement, not a guarantee. So nothing is posted for you: you watch every short, and when one does not suit you, you say why and Dailies leaves that subject out of your next calls. Your contract with your client remains the rule.
Nobody must know I work with this client: what do the shorts show?
One switch blurs your guests and disguises their voice in all your shorts; on a new account, it is on from the start. A short mostly shows you, explaining. That leaves what is said: if a passage names your client or describes their company, the blur changes nothing. That is why Dailies turns down the passages that reveal something private, and why you have the last word: a short Dailies proposes is not a short that is posted.
Do my calls stay stored on a server?
Your calls do reach a server, since Dailies has to receive them to cut your shorts from them, but the original files do not stay there: the sound and picture of a processed call are deleted 10 days after processing, 15 days at the latest. What stays is what your shorts are made of, that is, the only pieces of video they use, and the call’s transcript, until you delete the call, which you can do at any time. You choose which calls you record, and your recordings train no model.
Frequently asked questions
Can you record a coaching session to make content from it?
Yes, provided you tell your client and have their agreement: a coaching session is confidential, and it is up to you to ask them before you record, then again before you post a passage they appear in. Dailies helps with one thing: a switch that blurs your clients and disguises their voice in every short.
Does my client appear in the shorts?
A Dailies short shows whoever is speaking, across the whole vertical frame: your webcam when you answer, your client when they ask their question. One switch blurs your clients and disguises their voice; on a new account, it is on from the start. You then choose, short by short, what you download and post.
Which video call platforms does Dailies work with?
Dailies works with calls held in Chrome on Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or Zoom. Dailies is a Chrome extension: it records the call tab, your microphone and your webcam, from your browser.
How many shorts do you get from one coaching session?
Dailies cuts up to eight shorts per recorded call, of 12 to 90 seconds each. That is a maximum: a session does not always hold eight passages that stand on their own, and Dailies keeps only those.
Which languages does Dailies handle for coaching sessions?
Dailies handles calls in French and in English. Every short arrives captioned in one of fifteen styles; you pick yours once and for all.
Your next session is already in the calendar.
Add Dailies to Chrome, record it, and see what comes out a few minutes after you hang up. You have nothing to film.
