Marketers: fill the content calendar without a shoot
Dailies is a Chrome extension that records the video calls you hold in Chrome and cuts captioned vertical shorts from them, ready to post. Your content calendar demands short video every week, and you have no studio, no editor and no executive free to film themselves. Yet the material exists: the webinars, the demos and the customer calls where your team already explains what it knows.

Which calls feed a content calendar?
Dailies is installed in the Chrome of the person who speaks, and that is who the shorts show. Each recorded call gives up to eight passages of 12 to 90 seconds: enough to post several days running from a single hour that was already planned.
The webinar you host
Held on Meet, Teams or Zoom in Chrome, it is recorded like any call. Your answers to the audience’s questions are the cleanest passages: someone asks, you answer without notes.
The product demo
You explain to a customer why a feature exists and what it spares them. The short shows you explaining it, in words no product page uses.
Your experts’ calls
The chief executive, the sales reps, the consultants: the people you have been asking for content for months. They install the extension, hold their calls, and you no longer have to book an hour of their time.
A conversation with a customer
A customer asks a precise question, and you answer with a concrete case. With their agreement, their question opens the short; without it, one switch blurs them and disguises their voice.
Why start from your calls rather than a video shoot?
Expert content, not brand content
What is said on a call answers a real question, with a concrete case and no script. It is the tone a video shot for the occasion tries to imitate, and the one your experts already have when they talk to a customer.
No shoot to organise
No studio, no slot to find, no file to export and then upload to a clipping tool. The call takes place as planned; the shorts are ready a few minutes after you hang up.
One look across every short
You pick one of the fifteen caption styles once, and every short follows it: font, colours, motion, right down to the backdrop behind the person. Each short downloads in Full HD.
What kind of shorts can a marketing team post?
These are the kinds of titles carried by shorts cut from a team’s calls. None took a script or a brief: they exist because someone asked the question on a call.

How does Dailies work?
Record the call you were going to have anyway.
Open your call in Chrome and press record. Dailies captures the call, your microphone and your webcam.
It finds the moments worth posting.
Dailies reads the whole call and keeps up to eight passages that stand on their own. Silences, filler and false starts are cut out.
Reframed for a phone, on whoever is speaking.
Each short fills the vertical frame with your webcam, or with your guest when they speak. One switch blurs your guests.
Captioned in fifteen flavors.
Pick a look once and every short follows: font, colours, motion, even the backdrop behind you.
One call, up to eight shorts.
Watch them a few minutes after you hang up, download the ones you like in Full HD, and post them on LinkedIn, TikTok, Reels or Shorts.
What about the confidentiality of your calls?
What I say on a call belongs to my clients: can I make shorts from it?
What your client paid for is an answer to their own situation, and that is not what Dailies looks for. It rates every passage on what it reveals that is private or confidential, turns down those that reveal something and keeps the ones that make sense outside the call: a piece of advice, a method, an opinion. That is a model’s judgement, not a guarantee. So nothing is posted for you: you watch every short, and when one does not suit you, you say why and Dailies leaves that subject out of your next calls. Your contract with your client remains the rule.
Nobody must know I work with this client: what do the shorts show?
One switch blurs your guests and disguises their voice in all your shorts; on a new account, it is on from the start. A short mostly shows you, explaining. That leaves what is said: if a passage names your client or describes their company, the blur changes nothing. That is why Dailies turns down the passages that reveal something private, and why you have the last word: a short Dailies proposes is not a short that is posted.
Do my calls stay stored on a server?
Your calls do reach a server, since Dailies has to receive them to cut your shorts from them, but the original files do not stay there: the sound and picture of a processed call are deleted 10 days after processing, 15 days at the latest. What stays is what your shorts are made of, that is, the only pieces of video they use, and the call’s transcript, until you delete the call, which you can do at any time. You choose which calls you record, and your recordings train no model.
Frequently asked questions
Can Dailies cut up a webinar or a video that is already recorded?
No. Dailies only makes shorts from the calls it records itself in Chrome, on Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or Zoom. For a video you already have, you need a clipping tool that starts from an uploaded file.
Who appears in the shorts?
A Dailies short shows whoever is speaking, across the whole vertical frame: the person who started the recording when they answer, their guest when the guest speaks. One switch blurs guests and disguises their voice. So install Dailies in the Chrome of the person you want to show.
Does Dailies post the shorts to social media for us?
No. You download each Dailies short in Full HD and post or schedule it with your usual tools, on LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts. Dailies connects to none of your accounts.
How many shorts do you get from one call?
Dailies cuts up to eight shorts per recorded call, of 12 to 90 seconds each. That is a maximum: Dailies keeps only the passages that stand on their own, and not every call holds eight of them.
Which languages does Dailies handle?
Dailies handles calls in French and in English. The shorts arrive captioned, without their silences, hesitations or false starts.
Your next piece of content is already in a calendar.
