Consultants: show your expertise instead of describing it
Dailies is a Chrome extension that records the video calls you hold with your clients and cuts captioned vertical shorts from them, ready to post. Clients choose you for your judgement, and a profile does not show it: it says what you have done, not how you reason. You walk through that reasoning out loud at every stage of an engagement, with a client who asks you the very questions your next clients are asking themselves.

Which calls in a consulting engagement make a good short?
An engagement is run on calls, from scoping to follow-up. Dailies reads each one from start to finish and keeps up to eight passages of 12 to 90 seconds that stand on their own: the ones where you talk about method, and that make sense to someone who knows nothing about the client.
Scoping
The client describes a request, and you restate the real problem. That minute when the question changes is what people buy from a consultant, and no brochure shows it.
The diagnosis
You explain what the figures say and what they do not. A clear reading of a confused situation: your trade demonstrated, in forty seconds.
Presenting your recommendations
You stand by a recommendation and answer the objection every committee ends up raising. The answer holds for many more rooms than that one.
The follow-up
You help a team apply what was decided, and you say what always gets stuck in the third month. Advice from the field, which only those who have been through it can give.
Why start from your calls rather than a video shoot?
They show how you think
An article shows your conclusions. A call shows the way there: the question you ask, the hypothesis you rule out, the example you choose. That is what makes an executive say they want to talk to you.
Not an hour taken from the engagement
You cannot bill a video shoot, and you are not going to do one. You hold the calls you had planned; the shorts are ready a few minutes after you hang up, with silences, hesitations and false starts cut out.
Nothing goes out without you
A short keeps only a few dozen seconds of a call, and nothing is posted for you: you choose the ones you download. One switch blurs the people you talk to and disguises their voice, and your recordings train no model.
What kind of shorts can a consultant post?
These are the kinds of titles a consultant’s shorts carry. None names a client: they are lines of reasoning, the ones you go through again on every engagement.

How does Dailies work?
Record the call you were going to have anyway.
Open your call in Chrome and press record. Dailies captures the call, your microphone and your webcam.
It finds the moments worth posting.
Dailies reads the whole call and keeps up to eight passages that stand on their own. Silences, filler and false starts are cut out.
Reframed for a phone, on whoever is speaking.
Each short fills the vertical frame with your webcam, or with your guest when they speak. One switch blurs your guests.
Captioned in fifteen flavors.
Pick a look once and every short follows: font, colours, motion, even the backdrop behind you.
One call, up to eight shorts.
Watch them a few minutes after you hang up, download the ones you like in Full HD, and post them on LinkedIn, TikTok, Reels or Shorts.
What about the confidentiality of your calls?
What I say on a call belongs to my clients: can I make shorts from it?
What your client paid for is an answer to their own situation, and that is not what Dailies looks for. It rates every passage on what it reveals that is private or confidential, turns down those that reveal something and keeps the ones that make sense outside the call: a piece of advice, a method, an opinion. That is a model’s judgement, not a guarantee. So nothing is posted for you: you watch every short, and when one does not suit you, you say why and Dailies leaves that subject out of your next calls. Your contract with your client remains the rule.
Nobody must know I work with this client: what do the shorts show?
One switch blurs your guests and disguises their voice in all your shorts; on a new account, it is on from the start. A short mostly shows you, explaining. That leaves what is said: if a passage names your client or describes their company, the blur changes nothing. That is why Dailies turns down the passages that reveal something private, and why you have the last word: a short Dailies proposes is not a short that is posted.
Do my calls stay stored on a server?
Your calls do reach a server, since Dailies has to receive them to cut your shorts from them, but the original files do not stay there: the sound and picture of a processed call are deleted 10 days after processing, 15 days at the latest. What stays is what your shorts are made of, that is, the only pieces of video they use, and the call’s transcript, until you delete the call, which you can do at any time. You choose which calls you record, and your recordings train no model.
Frequently asked questions
How can a consultant make video content without filming themselves?
By starting from their client calls. Dailies records the calls you hold in Chrome on Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or Zoom, spots the passages that stand on their own and makes up to eight captioned vertical shorts per call from them. You have nothing to film and nothing to edit.
Which client calls are better left unrecorded?
Those covered by a duty of professional secrecy: Dailies does not support them. And those where nothing said matters to anyone but your client, such as a negotiation: there is nothing in them worth posting. For the others, tell your client that the call is recorded, and post only the passages where you talk about method.
Does Dailies write meeting notes or minutes?
No. Dailies writes no minutes, no summary and no list of action items. Dailies does one thing: captioned vertical shorts from the calls it records. For meeting notes, you need another kind of tool.
Where should a consultant post these shorts?
You download each Dailies short in Full HD and post it yourself: on LinkedIn, where your clients often are, but also on TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts. Dailies posts nothing for you.
Which languages does Dailies handle for client calls?
Dailies handles calls in French and in English. Every short arrives captioned in one of fifteen styles; you pick yours once and for all.
Your next client call is already in the calendar.
Add Dailies to Chrome, record it, and see which lines of reasoning deserve to be seen by the people who do not know you yet.
