Dailies

Dailies vs PraizThe Praiz alternative for people who want to publish their calls, not turn them into data

Praiz and Dailies both record conversations with customers, and both work in French. What they do next has nothing in common. Praiz hands the call to AI agents that extract signals from it and update the CRM for a sales or customer team. Dailies hands it back to you as captioned vertical shorts, cut from the passages worth posting. Comparing the two comes down to choosing between data for a team and content for an audience.

What Praiz does

Praiz is published by Praiz SAS, a French company based in Paris. It presents itself as AI agents that turn customer conversations into actionable data: they record and transcribe a company’s calls and meetings, extract signals from them and fill the CRM. For video meetings, a Praiz assistant joins Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams, records and leaves when the call ends. It asks to be let in, and Praiz states that if it is not admitted nothing is recorded; a participant can also opt out from an email sent before the meeting. It picks up phone calls made with Aircall, Ringover and Minari, and its mobile app records in-person meetings. It produces transcripts with speakers and talk time, notes, summaries and follow-ups; its agents qualify deals, score calls and update CRM fields, with digests and alerts. Each call is transcribed in the language spoken, among more than 100, and its site and help centre exist in English and in French.

Where Dailies and Praiz differ

Data for a team, content for an audience

Praiz treats a call as a source of data: its agents qualify the deal, note the pain points, score the call and write the result into the CRM. Dailies treats a call as footage: it picks the best passages by itself and cuts them into shorts. It extracts no signal, updates no CRM and writes no notes, summaries or follow-ups. The two do not overlap, and a team that needs one will not find it in the other.

What comes out of the recording

Praiz records a meeting and turns what was said into text and fields: a transcript, notes, a summary, CRM updates. We found no clip or snippet feature on the pages we read. Dailies turns the recording into video again: up to eight vertical 9:16 shorts per call, picked by itself, reframed on whoever speaks, with animated captions burned in and the silences, filler words and false starts cut out.

An assistant that asks to join, or an extension in your browser

The Praiz assistant joins the meeting and has to be admitted; Praiz states that nothing is recorded if it is not, and that a participant can opt out from an email sent beforehand. Dailies is a Chrome extension: it records the call tab, your microphone and your webcam, the webcam on a track of its own, on Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Zoom’s web client. No bot joins the call.

Calls where two languages mix

Praiz transcribes each call in the language spoken, among more than 100, and its agents can answer in another language than the call’s. It also states that accuracy drops on a call where participants switch languages. Dailies handles calls in French, in English and in both mixed.

Questions people ask

Can Praiz make video clips of a call?

We found no clip or snippet feature on the Praiz pages we read: its homepage, its recording page and the index of its help centre. Praiz describes transcripts, notes, summaries, follow-ups and CRM updates. Dailies cuts up to eight captioned vertical shorts from each call it records.

Is Dailies an alternative to Praiz?

Only if what you want from your calls is content to post. Dailies has no AI agents, extracts no signal, scores no call and updates no CRM, and it writes no notes or summaries. It records the calls you hold in Chrome and turns them into shorts. For analysing a team’s customer conversations, Praiz answers a need Dailies does not address.

Does Praiz send a bot to the meeting?

Yes. A Praiz assistant joins your Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams meetings, records and leaves when the call ends. It asks to join, and Praiz states that nothing is recorded if it is not admitted. Dailies records from a Chrome extension, with no bot in the call.

Does Praiz work in French?

Yes. Praiz is a French company, its site and help centre exist in French, and each call is transcribed in the language spoken, among more than 100. It states that accuracy drops when participants switch languages during a call. Dailies handles calls in French, in English and in both mixed, and its extension’s interface is in French.

Your next call already holds your next shorts.
