Dailies

Dailies vs AttentionThe Attention alternative for people whose calls should feed their content, not a CRM

Attention and Dailies both begin with a recorded conversation and go separate ways from there. Attention presents itself as AI agents for sales teams: they capture meetings, emails and other sales interactions, draft the next step on each deal and fill the CRM. Dailies is a Chrome extension that records the call you hold and cuts captioned vertical shorts from its best passages. One feeds a sales process, the other feeds what you post. This page sets them side by side, from what Attention publishes on its own site.

  • You want video to post from your calls, not CRM fields.
  • You have no time to film yourself, and you already give your best advice in client calls.
  • You want your guests blurred and their voice disguised with one switch.

For sales teams that want their deals followed up, their CRM filled and their people coached from the conversations they record.

  • You run a sales team and want follow-ups drafted and the CRM filled from its conversations.

What Attention does

Attention, the trade name of BenWick, Inc., presents itself as AI agents that learn from a team’s best sales conversations. They capture meetings, emails and other sales interactions, then draft the next step on each deal and fill the CRM. Its site says it integrates with Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams to record, transcribe and summarise calls automatically, and that it works with auto-diallers. Its homepage announces recording with no bot in the call; how that capture works is not explained on the pages we read. It also offers AI coaching scorecards and deal analysis, and a page of its site covers recording notices and consent workflows. It states that it supports transcription and translation in over 100 languages, French among those it names. Key moments of a call can be shared with comments and snippets, through shareable links.

Where Dailies and Attention differ

Agents for a sales team, or shorts for an audience

Attention’s outputs are those of a sales process: CRM fields filled in, a follow-up drafted, a deal analysed, a scorecard to coach from. Dailies has a single output, video. It takes the call you have just held and returns up to eight passages worth posting, each as a short. It fills no CRM, drafts nothing and writes no meeting notes, summaries or action items. A team choosing Attention will not find those things in Dailies, and a consultant who wants content has no use for deal analysis.

A snippet behind a link, a short ready to post

Attention lets you share key moments of a call with comments and snippets, distributed through shareable links. Its pages do not say how a snippet is made, and we found no vertical format, reframing, burned-in captions or removal of silences on those we read. Dailies picks its passages by itself and delivers each as a vertical 9:16 short, reframed on whoever speaks, with animated captions burned in and the silences, filler words and false starts removed, to download in Full HD.

How each one records

Attention’s homepage announces recording with no bot in the call, and the pages we read do not explain the method; elsewhere its site says it integrates with Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams to record calls automatically. Dailies is a Chrome extension that captures the call tab, your microphone and your webcam, the webcam on a track of its own. No bot joins the call.

Questions people ask

Can Attention make video clips of a call?

Its site mentions snippets: key moments of a call can be shared with comments and snippets, through shareable links. How a snippet is created is not described on the pages we read, and we found no vertical format, burned-in captions or reframing there. Dailies cuts up to eight captioned vertical shorts from each call it records.

Is Dailies an alternative to Attention for a sales team?

No. Dailies has no agents, fills no CRM, drafts no follow-up and analyses no deal. It records the calls you hold in Chrome and turns their best passages into shorts to post. A sales team looking for what Attention does will not find it in Dailies.

Does Attention record with a bot?

Its homepage announces recording with no bot in the call. The pages we read do not explain how that capture works. Dailies records from a Chrome extension on your own computer: the call tab, your microphone and your webcam. No bot joins the call.

Does Attention support calls in French?

Yes, by its own statement: Attention says it supports transcription and translation in over 100 languages and names French among them. Its site is in English on the pages we read. Dailies handles calls in French, in English and in both mixed, and its extension’s interface is in French.

Your next call already holds your next shorts.

Add Dailies to Chrome, record the call you were going to have anyway, and watch its shorts a few minutes after you hang up.
