Dailies vs LeexiThe Leexi alternative for people who would rather publish their calls than file them
Leexi and Dailies both start from the meetings you already hold. Leexi, published in Brussels, joins the call and gives back what a team needs to follow up: a transcript, a structured summary, an action plan, tasks, and answers to your questions about past meetings. Dailies gives back something to post: it records the call in Chrome and cuts captioned vertical shorts from its best passages. Leexi shares a meeting with care, by excerpt and behind an access code. Dailies prepares passages meant to be made public.

What Leexi does
Leexi is an AI note-taker published by Leexi SA, a Belgian company based in Brussels, which presents it as more than a note-taker: a suite around meetings and calls. You connect your calendar, it detects your Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet meetings, joins the call automatically and takes the notes. A mobile app covers in-person meetings, and it integrates with telephony tools such as Aircall, Ringover and Cloudtalk. It transcribes more than 100 languages with automatic detection, writes structured summaries, action plans and tasks, answers questions across meetings with Ask Leexi, builds reports over several meetings and connects to CRM, ATS and VoIP tools, with scorecards for coaching. Its platform is in French or English. For sharing, Leexi Share lets you send a summary, an action plan or a simple excerpt rather than the full recording, behind an access code and with an expiry date.
Where Dailies and Leexi differ
Sharing under control, or publishing
Leexi Share is built so that a meeting leaves the company only in part: a summary, an action plan or an excerpt, never the full recording, behind an access code and until an expiry date. That is what a client who must see one decision needs. Dailies serves the opposite case, the passage you want everyone to see: a vertical 9:16 short, reframed on whoever speaks, captioned, which you download in Full HD and post yourself on LinkedIn, TikTok, Reels or Shorts.
Excerpts and shorts
Leexi’s site lists external sharing of calls and videos, and feedback on snippets. How a snippet is made is not documented on the pages we read, and we found no mention there of vertical format, burned-in captions, reframing or removal of silences. Dailies picks up to eight passages per call by itself, cuts the silences, filler words and false starts, adds animated captions in one of fifteen styles and, above each short, a line that says the question it answers.
In the call, or in the browser
Leexi joins the meetings it finds in your calendar and takes the notes from inside the call. Dailies is a Chrome extension: it records the call tab, your microphone and your webcam from your browser, on Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Zoom’s web client. No bot joins the call.
Everything Dailies leaves to Leexi
Notes, summaries, action plans and tasks, questions about past meetings, reports over several meetings, in-person meetings on mobile, telephony, CRM and ATS integrations. Dailies does none of it. It writes no meeting notes, and it only works on the calls it recorded itself in Chrome.
Questions people ask
Can Leexi make video clips of a meeting?
It shares excerpts of a meeting, under controlled access. Leexi Share sends a summary, an action plan or a simple excerpt behind an access code and an expiry date, and its site lists feedback on snippets. How snippets are created is not documented on the pages we read, and we found no mention there of vertical format or burned-in captions.
Does Leexi join the call?
Yes, for online meetings. Once your calendar is connected, Leexi detects your Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet meetings and joins the call automatically to take the notes. Dailies records from a Chrome extension instead, with no bot in the call.
Does Dailies replace Leexi?
No. Dailies writes no notes, summary, tasks or report, and connects to no CRM. It makes shorts from the calls it records. A team that needs minutes keeps a note-taker such as Leexi; Dailies adds content to post, taken from the same calls.
Is Leexi available in French?
Yes. Its site states that the Leexi platform is in French or English, and that it transcribes more than 100 languages with automatic detection. Dailies handles calls in French, in English and in both mixed, and its extension’s interface is in French.
Your next call already holds your next shorts.
Add Dailies to Chrome, record the call you were going to have anyway, and watch its shorts a few minutes after you hang up.
