Dailies

Dailies vs WebinarJamThe WebinarJam alternative for coaches and experts whose content is in their client calls

WebinarJam and Dailies can serve the same person at two different moments of their work. WebinarJam is webinar software built to sell: a registration page, reminders by email and SMS, a live session in its own room with timed offers, and a replay afterwards. Dailies is no webinar platform. It is a Chrome extension that records the one-to-one calls you hold with clients on Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or Zoom, and delivers up to eight captioned vertical shorts a few minutes after each call. One runs the event. The other makes the videos you post between events.

What WebinarJam does

WebinarJam, made by Genesis Digital, is software for live and automated webinars that it presents as built to convert, and addresses to coaches, experts and creators. The webinar is held in WebinarJam’s own room, with what a sales event needs around it: registration pages from a page builder, A/B testing, email and SMS reminders, polls, an on-screen whiteboard and timed offers during the session. Video injections play a pre-recorded video in the middle of a live webinar. After each live session a replay is generated, shared by a link or downloaded as an MP4; its Replica replay saves the live webinar with its chat, offers and other interactions. EverWebinar, its sister product, plays a pre-recorded video as a webinar. A language and a country are selected in each webinar’s settings. We read its feature pages and searched its help centre, where we found no article on clips, captions or transcripts.

Where Dailies and WebinarJam differ

A sales event, or a client call

WebinarJam records what happens in its own room: a webinar you schedule, fill through a registration page and run with offers on screen. Recording a Google Meet, Teams or Zoom call is not described on the pages we read. Dailies records exactly that call, the one-to-one already in your calendar, from Chrome: the call tab, your microphone and your webcam. No bot joins it.

The whole webinar again, or a few passages of a call

WebinarJam’s replay is the webinar again: its Replica replay saves the session with its chat, its offers and its other interactions, on a replay page or as an MP4 download. Dailies keeps something else from a conversation: up to eight passages it picks itself, each cut into a vertical 9:16 short, reframed on whoever speaks, with silences, filler words and false starts removed and animated captions burned in.

From the recording to a clip

We searched WebinarJam’s help centre for clips, captions and transcripts and found no article on any of them; a search for clips returns video injections, which play a pre-recorded video during a webinar. On the pages we read, what a session leaves is its replay and an MP4 file. Dailies delivers the shorts themselves, and can blur or replace the room behind you or, with one switch, blur your guests and disguise their voice.

What WebinarJam does that Dailies does not

Registration pages with a page builder and A/B testing, email and SMS reminders, a live room with polls, a whiteboard and timed offers, replays that keep the session’s interactions, and automated webinars with EverWebinar. Dailies does none of that: it hosts no event, shows no offer on screen, and only makes shorts from the calls it records, which you download in Full HD and post yourself.

Questions people ask

Can WebinarJam make clips or shorts from a webinar?

We found no clip feature on the WebinarJam pages we read. A search for clips in its help centre returns video injections, which play a pre-recorded video during a live webinar, and a release note. What a session leaves is its replay, shared by a link or downloaded as an MP4.

Does WebinarJam record my webinar?

Yes. Its site says the webinar is saved automatically as a replay, and its help centre that replay recordings are generated after each live session and can be downloaded as an MP4. Its Replica replay saves the live webinar with its chat, offers and other interactions.

Does WebinarJam add captions or a transcript to a replay?

We found neither. Searching its help centre for captions and for transcripts returned no article. That search may not index everything, so read this as what we could find on 1 October 2026, not as a statement by WebinarJam.

Is Dailies a WebinarJam alternative for running webinars?

No. Dailies is no webinar platform: no registration page, no live room, no offers, no replay. It makes shorts from the client calls you hold in Chrome on Meet, Teams or Zoom. The two can work for the same business: a webinar to sell, shorts to post in between.

Your next call already holds your next shorts.

Add Dailies to Chrome, record the call you were going to have anyway, and watch its shorts a few minutes after you hang up.
