Dailies vs MagicPostThe MagicPost alternative when you want video of your calls, not another written post
MagicPost and Dailies both work in French, and both help someone build a personal brand. They do it with different material. MagicPost is a LinkedIn platform: it generates posts in your writing style, makes visuals and carousels, schedules them and tracks their results. It can even read a recording you attach, transcribing its audio to write a post from it. Dailies is a Chrome extension that records the calls you hold on Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or Zoom and delivers captioned vertical shorts a few minutes later. MagicPost gives you the written post; Dailies gives you the video. On LinkedIn, a post can carry both.

What MagicPost does
MagicPost is a LinkedIn platform whose footer says it is made in France, with plans for agencies and teams as well as individuals. Its generator writes posts in a style imported from your own posts or from a creator’s, with a hook generator, a Humanizer and a library of more than two million posts. It reads sources too: a PDF, an image, a YouTube link, or an audio or video file, whose audio track it transcribes to write the post. It makes AI visuals and photos, and carousels exported as PDF. Its scheduler publishes on LinkedIn text, one image or several, a GIF, a video with the thumbnail of your choice, a PDF, a carousel or a poll, with a first comment, and it can schedule comments. It also has lead detection, client approval and white-label reports, an MCP server and an API. Seven languages, French among them, come with its full writing settings, including formality, gender and regional variants, and its website exists in as many. What it produces is a written post, a visual or a carousel; we found no video editing or clip feature on the pages we read.
Where Dailies and MagicPost differ
A recording as a source, or a recording as the result
MagicPost can take a video file as a source: it transcribes the audio track and writes a post from what is said in it. The video stays as it was; the result is a text, a visual or a carousel. Dailies keeps the picture. It records the call tab, your microphone and your webcam from Chrome, then cuts up to eight passages into vertical shorts, reframed on whoever speaks and captioned. No bot joins the call.
Written in your style, or said in your voice
MagicPost imports a writing style, yours or a creator’s, and writes new posts in it; a Humanizer and a hook generator work on the wording. The words of a Dailies short are the ones spoken on the call: it is you, facing a client, without the silences, the filler words and the false starts, with animated captions burned in, in fifteen styles, and a line above each short, the question it answers.
What MagicPost does that Dailies does not
MagicPost writes posts, generates visuals and carousels, schedules posts and comments on LinkedIn, tracks analytics and detects leads, and has client approval and white-label reports. Dailies does none of that. It only makes shorts from the calls it records in Chrome, it does not edit a video you upload, and it does not post for you: you download each short in Full HD.
Using the two together
The two meet at the video file. You download a short from Dailies; MagicPost’s scheduler publishes a video on LinkedIn with the thumbnail of your choice and a first comment. Since its generator accepts a video file as a source and transcribes its audio, the same file can also serve as material for the post that goes with it. MagicPost does not change the video itself.
Questions people ask
Can MagicPost turn a video into a LinkedIn post?
Yes, into a written one. Its generator accepts an audio or a video file as a source, as well as a PDF, an image or a YouTube link; for a video, it transcribes the audio track and writes the post from it. The video itself is not cut, reframed or captioned: we found no video editing on the pages we read.
Can MagicPost schedule a video on LinkedIn?
Yes. Its site lists a video with the thumbnail of your choice among what it publishes on LinkedIn, along with text, images, a GIF, a PDF, a carousel and a poll, and a first comment. The video has to exist already; a short downloaded from Dailies is one.
Does MagicPost work in French?
Yes. French is one of seven languages that come with its full writing settings, including formality, gender and regional variants, and its website exists in French. Its footer says it is made in France. Dailies handles calls in French, in English and in both mixed, and its extension’s interface is in French.
Does Dailies replace MagicPost?
No. Dailies only makes shorts from the calls it records, and neither posts nor schedules for you. MagicPost writes posts, makes visuals and carousels and publishes them on LinkedIn. One makes the video, the other the written post around it: they are used together more naturally than one instead of the other.
Your next call already holds your next shorts.
